So yesterday I peeked into the shower room of the St. Louis Cardinals clubhouse.

As far around the corner as the barrier would let me, which wasn’t far. But I was there!

Yesterday my 10 year old son Noah and I visited the Winter Warm Up for the St. Louis Cardinals. This event is a huge fundraiser for Cardinals Care, an organization that gives funds to local causes.

I was there to scope out possibly getting a booth for my Love of the Game artwork next year, and we had to participate in the activities like normal fans as well…

WWU Fredbird

Fredbird found us browsing the vendor booths at Winter Warm Up.

While browsing the vendor booths, I cam across the work of photographer Dan Donovan. His shots of Busch Stadium were just stunning. Come to find out, he is putting together a book of his work. Oh, and did I mention he is an official photographer for the Cardinals?

You should check out his work at his website www.dandonovanfineart.com, his blog here, and more info on the book here, including some sample photos (my faves are the first one and Ozzie Smith!).

Noah and Brian Jordan

Noah was thrilled to have a baseball signed by a Cardinals player.

From the Winter Warm Up we headed over to Busch Stadium for a tour. This weekend is the only time the public tours are allowed to see the Cardinals’ locker room. We were excited!

P.S. Did you know that family and senior photos can be done at Busch Stadium? Here is one of  Jacob’s that I did this past fall:

You can see my other favorites from his shoot at this blog post.

Interested to have your photos at the stadium? Contact me today. I would be happy to do them!
